These alternate names have been removed and interfaces can only be referred to by endX names. * **Partup**: partup is now v4.0.0 (updated from v3.0.0) **Linux Kernel** ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ * **Kernel Update**: Update to v6.18.38 (tag: v6.18.38-12.01.00.05-phy5) based on TI SDK v12.01.00.05 * **TI SDK Update**: Bump from TI Processor SDK v11.02.11 to v12.01.00.05 * **OLDI Overlays**: OLDI device tree bindings have changed, so the contents of the OLDI overlays has been reworked. The overlay names and functionality are unchanged. * **EdgeAI Overlay**: EdgeAI overlay memory carveouts are included in the k3-am62a-phycore-edgeai.dtbo that can be applied in U-Boot. It is not applied by default but must be applied to use EdgeAI. **U-Boot Bootloader** ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ * **Bootloader Update**: Update to U-Boot v2026.01 (tag: v2026.01-phy3) **Issues Fixed** ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ * **eMMC Backup Boot Mode**: Fixed an issue where eMMC as a backup boot mode was not detected. * **Flashcp Command**: Fixed an issue where OSPI reads would be corrupted immediately after writing. **Known Issues** ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ * **USB I/O Errors**: There may be I/O errors with **/dev/sdb** during the boot process from eMMC. However, no issues have been observed when reading from or writing to the drive after booting. * **Boot Hang Issue**: The first-stage bootloader occasionally hangs in about 1% of all boot attempts on High Secure devices. * **/dev/watchdog1**: A wrong interrupt source is configured in the Error Signaling Module (ESM) for ``/dev/watchdog1``, which should not be used. systemd uses /dev/watchdog0 and is therefore unaffected by this issue.
